Parcs de bombers modulars fets amb moduls tridimensionals de formigo.
The two new volunteer fire stations in Serós and Gelida will be built using CompactHabit’s modular system, becoming the first modular fire stations in Catalonia.
Each building will consist of 15 modules distributed across the ground floor and first floor. Inside, they will include all the necessary spaces for the operational functioning of a fire station: locker rooms, rest areas, offices, and other facilities. The garages, built with a metal structure, will also follow an industrialised construction process.
Module manufacturing has already begun at our industrialised construction plant in Cardona, while on-site preparation work is progressing in parallel to receive and assemble the modules. Thanks to our industrialised construction method, it is possible to work simultaneously at the factory and on-site, reducing construction times by up to 70% compared with traditional building methods.
These projects represent the first fire stations in Catalonia built with industrialised concrete modules, reflecting the commitment of the Department of Interior and Public Safety of the Generalitat to more agile, efficient, and sustainable construction systems.
With this project, it becomes clear that CompactHabit’s industrialised modular construction is versatile and applicable to all types of buildings.
