Universities and professionals open to the CompactHabit innovative modular building system

In a few days, the Catalan company will take part in a 5 different forums.

The important role of CompactHabit in the industrialised building system has become a highlight in recent days. The company has taken part in five forums, most of them in the field of knowledge, such as the one in the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Barcelona (ETSAB), the Polytechnic School of Girona (UdG), the School of Industrial and Aeronautic Engineering of Terrassa (UPC) and the University of Vic through the Green Economy Catalan Institute.

The eMii system, patented by CompactHabit, is a building system based on the manufacturing of industrialised modules in factory, which gives environmental advantages and offers a most sustainable construction.

In the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Barcelona, CompactHabit offered the students a new vision of the industrialised construction. This new vision confirms the speed, quality and safety of the whole construction process.

On the other hand, in the Polytechnic School of Girona, where the attendees were a diverse audience of professionals and students of the region, the company took part in a technical workshop on sustainability propelled by the prestigious platform Construction 21. In this region, CompactHabit has built the Student Housing of Girona, the Josep Trueta Hospital enlargement and the Affordable Housing in Banyoles.

In the case of School of Industrial and Aeronautic Engineering of Terrassa, the company delivered a lecture under the VIII Business Forum of industrial and aeronautical, a highly successful initiative where firms and engineering students came together.

CompactHabit was also invited to participate in a conference in the University of Vic called “Sustainable construction: reducing costs and differentiate the product”, sponsored by the Green Economy Catalan Institute.

CompactHabit has also been invited to take part in the Architecture Sustainability master’s degree in Valencia this month. This master is one of the most renowned ones in Spain and it is led by the important architect Luis de Garrido.

Besides the university field, CompactHabit participated, last February, in a conference about innovation in the PIMEC Management within the programme “Accelera el creixement” (“Accelerate the growth”).
